Terms of sale and delivery for purchasing and refilling an electronic gift voucher for LEGOLAND ApS.

The terms of sale and delivery are an integral part of the agreement for purchasing or refilling the gift voucher. Therefore, please read the terms of sale and delivery before you place your order for purchasing or refilling gift vouchers.

Application
The gift voucher is an electronic gift voucher which can be used as a kind of cash card instead of cash. The gift voucher can be used for payment at the LEGOLAND ApS sales outlets in Billund, including the LEGOLAND park ticket offices, shops, restaurants, as well as for payment at Hotel LEGOLAND, LEGOLAND Castle Hotel and LEGOLAND Holiday Village.

Ordering & order confirmation
The minimum amount on a gift voucher is DKK 100.- and the maximum amount is DKK 25,000.-.
Once you have entered your order for a gift voucher or for the refilling of a gift voucher and completed the payment, you will immediately receive an order confirmation at the e-mail address that you entered when ordering the gift voucher or the refilling.
Once you have clicked on "Complete purchase" and the message "Thank you for your order" appears on the screen, you have entered into an agreement for purchasing or refilling a gift voucher.
You can at any time print the terms of sale and delivery, which form the basis of the agreement you have entered into with LEGOLAND ApS in connection with the purchase or the refilling of a gift voucher.
If you have made an input error or some other error in connection with placing your order for the gift voucher or the refilling thereof, please feel free to contact LEGOLAND ApS, and we will be happy to help you.

Payment
Payment can be made by Dankort, Maestro, MasterCard Credit, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Visa Delta and American Express.
Your payment is handled by the NETS ePayment module. NETS handles all payments and all card data. NETS complies with international safety standards (the so-called Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (abbreviated to PCI DSS). The exchange of information between LEGOLAND ApS and the data processor is encrypted in SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
The amount will be withdrawn from your account when LEGOLAND ApS sends the gift voucher. When refilling a gift voucher, payment will be withdrawn immediately on completing the purchase.
Please notice that all private cards issued outside EU/EØS and all company cards will be charged a fee in line with the cost which LEGOLAND® pays to the card issuer. For private cards issued outside EU/EØS the fee is 3,75% for Visa, MasterCard, JCB/CUP and UnionPay. For American Express the fee is 2,50% and for diners it is 2,25%. For company cards the fee for Visa, MasterCard, JCB/CUP and UnionPay is 3,13% for Danish and European cards and 3,75% for other cards. For American Express the fee is 1,06% for Danish cards and 2,50% for other cards. For Diners it is 0,94% for Danish cards and 2,25% for other cards.

Terms of delivery
Gift vouchers are usually delivered within 5 weekdays, unless a later delivery date has been specifically requested. Shippings will not be made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
All gift vouchers will be sent by Post Nord. There may be delays with Post Nord, for which LEGOLAND ApS has neither influence nor liability.
If the gift voucher is not delivered but is lost in the mail, notice shall be given to:

If the gift voucher is lost in the mail, a new gift voucher will be sent, provided that the lost gift voucher has not been activated, as it is otherwise considered to have been received.

Shipping and handling fees
The shipping and handling fee amounts to DKK 50.- per gift voucher.
Shipping and handling fee per activation code amounts to DKK 0.- for codes sent by e-mail and DKK 30.- for codes sent by mail.
There is no fee for therefilling of gift vouchers.

Cancellation right
You may change your mind about the agreement to purchase a gift voucher.
The withdrawal period is 14 days. The withdrawal period is as a starting point counted from the day you receive the gift voucher.
For example, if you receive the gift voucher on Monday 1st, and if you have also received the above-mentioned information, you have a time limit until and including Monday 15th. In case you received the information later, for example on Wednesday 3rd, you have a time limit until and including Wednesday 17th. If the period expires on a public holiday, a Saturday, Constitution Day, 24 December or on 31 December, you may wait until the next weekday.
If the first gift voucher transaction is carried outwithin the 14-day withdrawal period, the withdrawal period lapses immediately after the completion of the first gift voucher transaction.
At the refilling of the gift voucher you agree that the amount is added to the gift voucher immediately after you receive the receipt for the refilling. You also agree that you do not have any cancellation right concerning refilling from the time whenthe amount is credited to the gift voucher, cf. The Danish Consumer Protection Act, §19(5).

Utilisation of the cancellation right
The gift voucher mustbe returned before the expiry of the withdrawal period. It is sufficient that youhave, before expiry of the withdrawal period, handed over the envelope with the gift voucher to Post Nord, or any other company that has undertaken the shipment to LEGOLAND ApS. If you want to make sure that you have cancelled the agreement in time, you may for example send the letter by registered mail and keep the postal receipt.
Notification that you have changed your mind about the purchase agreement and that you have returned the gift voucher shall be made to:

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the envelope with the gift voucher, or by failing to collect the envelope at the post office, etc.
When LEGOLAND ApS receives the gift voucher back from you, the nominal value of the gift voucher and the shipping and handling fees paid will be credited to your bank account.
You must pay the expenses (postage/freight) concerning the return of the gift voucher yourself. If the return envelope is insufficiently stamped or not stamped at all, LEGOLAND ApS will set off the return postage and any fees etc. for lack of return postage in the nominal value of the gift voucher.
The gift voucher mustbe returned in the same condition as it was when received.

Redemption of vouchers for electronic gift cards
Before you can use the voucher's face value, it must be exchanged for a physical gift card. The exchange for the physical gift card must take place within 36 months from the date of purchase. When the voucher has been exchanged for a physical gift card, it can be used for physical payment in the LEGOLAND Park as well as for both physical and online payment at LEGOLAND Billund's own accommodation sites. The voucher can be freely exchanged by appearance at the LEGOLAND Park information as well as at the receptions at Hotel LEGOLAND, LEGOLAND Castle Hotel or LEGOLAND Holiday Village. It is also possible to receive the physical LEGOLAND Billund Resort gift card by post against a postal fee of DKK 50 per card. If you wish to receive the physical LEGOLAND Billund Resort gift card by post, you must send this voucher electronically to the LEGOLAND Service Centre by e-mail: info@legoland.dk stating your name and address. We will then send the physical gift card by Post Nord.
The physical gift card to which the voucher is exchanged is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Activation of the gift voucher
Upon receipt of the gift voucher, it must be activated with an activation code before it can be used. When ordering a gift voucher, you can choose to have the activation code sent by e-mail or by mail. When the activation code is sent by e-mail to the person who ordered it, the code will appear from the submitted invoice. If the recipient of the gift voucher is different from the person who ordered it, the activation code can also be sent directly to the recipient, who can then activate the gift voucher.
Gift vouchers can be activated on the website of LEGOLAND.dk/gavekort by entering the activation code and the gift voucher number.

Terms of use of the voucher
The gift voucher is an electronic gift voucher which can be used for payment of purchases on the same terms as when paying with cash. The gift voucher has the same function as a debit card, however, payments can be made without pin number, identification, or code.
The gift voucher cannot be disabled when it has been activated.
After activating the gift voucher, you assume the risk of misuse of the gift voucher, and thus the risk of losses. This also applies if the voucher is used by someone else without your permission, for example if the gift voucher has been stolen. The same applies to the recipient, if you give away or sell the gift voucher. As the gift voucher’s maximum value is DKK 25,000.-, the loss will, however, always be limited to DKK 25,000.- per voucher and the maximum credit balance of the voucher.
The gift voucher is not registered in your name and you can therefore freely transfer it to a recipient.
The person who is at any time in possession of the gift voucher has the gift voucher at his/her disposal in relation to LEGOLAND ApS. The reason for this is that the gift voucher is considered as a bearer document.
Lost and misused gift vouchers are not replaced.

Voucher regulations
The voucher regulations are an integral part of the terms of sale and delivery. When accepting the terms of sale and delivery, you will at the same time accept the voucher regulations.

Validity
Gift vouchers will expire 3 years from the date of delivery, however, no earlier than 3 years from the latest refilling of the voucher.
Electronic gift card vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. I.e. the exchange to the physical gift card must take place within 36 months. The physical gift card to which the voucher is exchanged is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Payment of credit balance
You may, at any time during the gift voucher's validity period and up to one year after its expiration, cash the gift voucher and have the credit balance returned.
In case you wish to have the credit balance returned, you have to send back your gift voucher to us. The money will be paid out once we receive the gift voucher.

Balance
You can check the balance of the gift voucher at LEGOLAND.dk/gavekort or by scanning the QR code at the back of the gift voucher.

Refilling of the gift voucher
Refilling of the gift voucher can be made at LEGOLAND.dk/gavekort, as well as at the Information Centre in the LEGOLAND park, at the reception in Hotel LEGOLAND and at the reception in LEGOLAND Holiday Village. The minimum amount for refilling is DKK 100.- and the maximum amount (including the currentbalance) is DKK 25,000.-.
The gift voucher can be refilled to a higher amount than its purchase price, however, to a maximum of DKK 25,000.-.

Personal data policy
LEGOLAND ApS will only collect personal data such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail, if you provide this information voluntarily.
This information will be used by LEGOLAND ApS in order to provide you with the information you have requested, or for the implementation of an agreement when you have ordered a service at LEGOLAND ApS.
All information collected will be treated confidentially.
The information is processed by an external data processor (NETS, where the utilised payment software meets national and international card organisations’ security requirements (PCI standard (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)). The exchange of information between LEGOLAND ApS and the data processor is encrypted in SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
LEGOLAND ApS refers to the privacy policy, which is an integral part of the terms of sale and delivery for purchases and refilling of electronic gift vouchers. Read more here:

Language
Agreements for the purchase of gift vouchers and/or refilling of gift vouchers shall be made in Danish.

Applicable law & venue
Any gift voucher purchased at LEGOLAND ApS shall be governed by Danish law. Any dispute about gift vouchers which involves LEGOLAND ApS shall be submitted to the Court in Kolding as primary instance unless mandatory law provides otherwise. This also applies to the sale of gift vouchers for buyers residing or staying abroad.
